David Brock

David has spent over two decades in the resources industry as an Executive Search and Management consultant after an early career in senior operational, and corporate roles.

He has been entrusted to source and recruit board level and C-suite leaders; through to key personnel across corporate, technical, operational, commercial / financial and functional support teams. He has also successfully designed and executed large scale whole of workforce campaigns and has been commissioned to provide white papers to boards and management in regards to remuneration, international recruitment, remote working and workforce planning.

Prior to joining OnTalent, David’s experience includes leading the Recruitment and internal Talent Management function for a division of the world’s 4th largest listed mining company, specialist sourcing for the world’s largest (by revenue) global mining house and has been a director / equity partner in two successful consultancies. With tertiary studies in Management and Commerce, plus a past graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, David has the theory and practical knowledge to provide expert advice and support for operating companies, engineering firms and service companies alike in their search for quality personnel across the Mining / Minerals Processing, Engineering, Energy / Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and Built Environment industries.
