Donna Bliss leads Ontalent’s Professional and Specialist Recruitment division and has a background in recruitment spanning in excess of 25 years.After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG, Donna spent over 20 years with Hays, a global specialist recruiter, both locally and internationally, in a variety of recruitment and executive leadership roles throughout the Hays group. During this time, Donna was instrumental in driving the growth and development of various regions and divisions (predominantly in South-East Queensland) including Finance, Human Resources, Business Support, Contact Centre, Legal, Manufacturing, Facilities Management and other Blue-Collar divisions. Donna account managed a variety of local, state and national accounts including Flight Centre Ltd, Morris Corporation as well as acted as mentor for aspiring leaders for aspiring Business Directors across the state.With a passion for recruitment, a natural inclination towards Corporate Services and a genuine care for the candidate's career journey – Donna transitioned into boutique recruitment and joined OnTalent seeking more meaningful industry engagement with a focus on robust and comprehensive recruitment process and service delivery.Donna’s strengths include an honest, collaborative approach – along with a drive to ‘make a difference’ to the customer experience for both clients and candidates. She is passionate around creating value beyond the core recruitment process – with a strong emphasis on making sure her client’s Employer Brand is enhanced during every process Donna manages.Donna is also a strong advocate for offering ongoing learning, development and collaboration opportunities by offering content and facilitating collaborative thought leadership events – an area she is always keen to explore with clients.Donna doesn’t believe recruitment needs to be rocket science.
