Challenge DV is a dynamic and impactful nonprofit organisation dedicated to addressing domestic violence issues within our communities. We work to create lasting change by providing workplace and community training and education services, social impact projects and advocacy.
Challenge DV has been partnering with Australian businesses since 2001 and while our core activities are centred on delivering award-winning domestic and family violence training to workplaces, we do so much more.
Change is being driven by advocating for better prevention and awareness, educating workplaces and schools, working with vulnerable communities, exploring programs for men and boys, facilitating corporate partnerships with front-line services like shelters and refuges, and uniting our community through meaningful events, like Darkness to Daylight.
We are seeking Directors with the time to commit to the organisation as a director but also to roll their sleeves up in their area of technical and professional expertise to support the organisation in delivering on its strategic plan.
As a Non-Executive Director, you will play a critical role in providing strategic guidance, oversight, and governance to the organisation. We are particularly interested in candidates who can commit to the time and energy required to make a meaningful impact.
Your key responsibilities include attending board meetings and actively participating in strategic discussions, providing guidance and oversight on organisational policies, finances and governance along with contributing to the development and implementation of fundraising and philanthropic initiatives. As meetings are conducted remotely, we welcome regional applications.
