Celia Jones

Celia is an executive recruitment professional with extensive experience across multiple industries and locations. She brings recent and relevant consulting expertise in reviewing and renewing recruitment processes and systems, with a strong focus on best practice, measurable outcomes, and making necessary adjustments along the way.

She has held roles in Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, and her hometown of Brisbane.

Celia holds a Bachelor of International Business and a Master of Journalism from QUT. With a background in media, she has worked with ABC Radio and Universal Music. Earlier in her career, she trained and worked as a nurse, including in intensive care units in both public and private hospitals, while completing her studies before moving into corporate roles.

With over 25 years of expertise spanning executive search, workforce design, and strategic stakeholder engagement, Celia has a proven ability to build trusted relationships with government executives, board directors, industry leaders, and not-for-profit stakeholders. She is recognised for delivering innovative workforce solutions and leading large-scale recruitment campaigns across Australia and internationally, while also providing pragmatic and impactful advice to smaller, resource-constrained organisations.

Currently, Celia is a Senior Client Partner – Executive and Boards at On Talent, with a focus on Local, State, and Federal Government clients, as well as the not-for-profit sector. She brings expertise in local government, having partnered with most of Queensland’s 77 councils over the past decade.
