ECOllaboration is a dynamic, forward-thinking ‘for purpose’ registered charity. Our driving force is to create meaningful impact through purposeful actions that address environmental, social and community challenges. We are mission driven. Every decision we make, every resource we allocate, and every partnership we pursue is centred on our commitment to delivering tangible, positive change for the greater good, creating a greener, more sustainable future for generations to come.
Following the retirement of the long-term Chair, ECOllaboration is now seeking two dynamic and visionary individuals to join the Board of Directors as the Chair and as a Non-Executive Director. This is a unique opportunity to set the standard for good governance, lead and shape the strategic direction of the organisation, and champion sustainability efforts in an impactful way.
As a member of the Board, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic leadership to the organisation, ensuring effective governance and oversight of ECOllaboration’s activities. You will work closely with the CEO and the executive team to set the organisation’s long-term vision and objectives. In doing so, you will ensure that there is alignment between the Board and management on key initiatives, fostering a strong and effective relationship.
We are looking for a committed and inspiring leader with proven experience in a leadership role, ideally as a chair, non-executive director, or senior executive within the environmental, sustainability, or for-purpose charity sector. You should have a deep passion for environmental stewardship and sustainability, with a history of advocacy or leadership in this area. Strong governance experience is essential.
In addition to your governance and leadership skills, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling you to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. Balancing support and constructive challenges will be critical as you work with the executive team. Experience in fundraising, partnership building, or stakeholder engagement is highly desirable and will help ECOllaboration achieve its long-term goals.
If you are inspired by the opportunity to contribute to meaningful environmental change, we would love to hear from you.
