OnTalent is delighted to partner with the RCSA which is the peak body representing the recruitment, staffing and consulting sectors, including the labour hire industry, across Australia and New Zealand.
The role, value and operation of traditional and non-traditional work in current and future labour markets is at the forefront of industrial relations policy considerations at the Federal and State level.
This position will work closely with the Head of Advocacy and CEO to provide a strong voice for the industry with media and with key stakeholders to inform these debates and to promote and enhance the reputation of the broader industry.
The role is fast paced and will require you to think quickly and rapidly identify and articulate key issues. It will be a focal point for policy and industry related issues across Australia and New Zealand in the media and with government.
With experience in or exposure to government relations, media, journalism or public affairs, you will be able to develop communications and briefing materials that reflect context and positioning, with messages that cut through. You will also engage directly with journalists and government in promoting the industry and enhancing its recognition and reputation among key stakeholders.
For the right candidate, there will be a significant opportunity to work autonomously and build substantive direct relationships with media and government.
RCSA is an energetic and agile organisation. Its small team is outcomes focused and embodies a strong culture of support for each other and fun at work.
The tight team and busy nature of the role presents significant opportunity to explore, expand and deepen your communications, campaigning and engagement skills and support your public affairs career.
