Job Description

You will be joining a small team-based Brisbane. We value ability to learn quickly, creativity, attention to detail as well as the ability to self-manage. Being a small team, you will have the opportunity to communicate directly with our customers in garnering feedback and requirements so good communication skills are essential.
  
From an operational and delivery perspective, the C/C++ Linux Software Engineer will:
  • Writing well designed, testable, efficient code
  • Effective source control management
  • Create and maintain software documentation
  • Configuring and customisation of operating system
  • Bug fixing and extending of software that perform the following roles:
  • New project developments – in particular Android Project to focus on Field based applications 
To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience in C/C++ Linux Software Development. You will have experience across the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, relevant engineering field, or equivalent experience preferred, but not essential
  • Operating System Knowledge Linux (x86)
  • Programming/Software knowledge will cover – C, C++, Android software development - JAVA
  • Source control (Git including features such as branching)
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Process and people focused
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical problem solver
