To drive this ongoing evolution and transformative Master Plan delivery and activation, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Chief Executive Officer.
Reporting to an engaged, high-profile and deeply committed board, the Chief Executive officer will lead the development and delivery of the Southbank Corporation’s strategic plan and Master Plan, oversee the commercial operations and parklands management and be instrumental in ensuring collaborative and productive relationships with stakeholders across Queensland Government, Brisbane City Council, precinct partners and the community.
Success in this high-profile role will be measured by the positive change and transformation of the organisation internally and externally through the identification and realisation of new opportunities and initiatives for the precinct for today and through the 2032 Olympics and beyond. - Balance strategic and transformational capability with strong operational leadership
- Have demonstrated experience in place making, development and experience design with extensive knowledge, experience and credibility in developing innovative and integrated policies, strategies and programs for managing change and renewal in high growth, inner city areas
- Demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management skills across government, the private sector and the community
- Have a deep and demonstrated understanding of destination development as it relates to tourism and local visitors
- Be adept at leading in an ambiguous, changing and highly competitive environment
- Be commercially astute with strong governance, compliance and statutory expertise
