In this critical role you will collaborate with government, industry and regional partners to lead an investment facilitation framework to attract and facilitate private sector investment in areas of priority for government. You will bring strong commercial focus to increase private sector investment in Queensland through the attraction of private sector projects that support the strengthening, diversification and internationalisation of the Queensland Government.
The Deputy-Director General, Investment Facilitation and Partnerships leads four key focus areas:
- Investment Strategy and Attraction
- Investment Incentives
- Investment Facilitation and Industrial Land
- Investment Transactions
This pivotal role for the Queensland Government supports investment and economic growth across the state and requires a leader with proven achievement in developing economic growth and partnerships across the public and private sector. To be successful you will have extensive, high-level capability in driving strategy and people to work strategically across all levels of government, with private sector organisations, industry and community groups. You will understand the nuance of the social impact of economic development and the alignment to public policy and Advancing Queensland Priorities.
