Step into this newly created leadership role overseeing electrical and control systems within a large, asset‑intensive industrial environment.

You will guide a team of engineers to shape how plant systems are maintained, improved and optimised, delivering safety, reliability and long‑term asset integrity.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will:
  • Oversee electrical and control systems, including plant automation environments
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of engineers
  • Plan and prioritise engineering activities to support safe and efficient operations
  • Deliver improvement initiatives across plant and equipment
  • Contribute to lifecycle planning, maintenance strategy and reliability uplift
  • Manage engineering governance, risk and compliance
  • Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to improve overall performance
Your background includes:
  • Electrical engineering qualifications or a closely related discipline
  • Exposure to control systems, plant automation and related operational technologies
  • The ability to guide, mentor and influence engineering teams
  • A track record of improving plant performance and maintenance outcomes
  • RPEQ certification is something you currently hold, are progressing towards, or are keen to obtain.
