We are seeking a Team Leader – Finance to join their dynamic and purpose-driven team on a contract basis until November 2025. About the Role
As the Team Leader – Finance, you will oversee financial operations, reporting, and compliance while driving process improvements and financial sustainability. You’ll provide leadership to a small team, ensuring financial integrity and efficiency while supporting the organisation’s mission.
This is a full-time, contract position until November 2024, offering an excellent opportunity to make an impact in a short-term leadership role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
  • Manage month-end and year-end financial processes, audits, and grant acquittals.
  • Implement financial best practices and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
About You We are looking for a finance professional who brings a mix of technical expertise and a strong leadership approach. You’ll be proactive, solutions-focused, and passionate about using your skills to support an organisation with a social purpose.

Key Requirements:
  • CPA or CA qualification with a strong background in financial management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a finance leadership role within a complex organisation.
  • Experience managing a small team and fostering a positive work culture.
  • Strong technical accounting and financial analysis skills.
  • A values-driven approach with a passion for making a difference.
  • Experience in the not-for-profit sector (highly regarded but not essential).
