Accountant | Manufacturing Environment - Yatala, QLD - $80K-$90K plus super
An established manufacturing business with a global footprint is seeking an Accountant to join its finance team. This role is well suited to an Assistant Accountant ready to take the next step, or an Accountant looking to work closely with a hands-on Senior Accountant in a broad, practical role.
You’ll gain exposure across the full finance function, supporting day-to-day accounting operations while building depth in areas such as month-end, cash flow, and intercompany accounting.
- What You’ll Be DoingSupporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including reconciliations
- Assisting with daily banking, cash monitoring, and credit card reconciliations
- Maintaining general ledger accuracy and supporting month-end close
- Assisting with intercompany and foreign currency transactions
- Helping prepare cash flow forecasts and financial information for management
- Supporting BAS and FBT preparation
- Responding to finance queries and assisting with ad-hoc tasks and analysis
- About YouDegree qualified (or nearing completion) in Accounting or Finance
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential
- Background as an Assistant Accountant or junior Accountant
- Solid foundation in AP, AR, and reconciliations
- Comfortable working with ERP systems and Excel
- Eager to learn, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Able to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
