About the role
Reporting to the CEO, and as a key member of the Executive, you will develop and implement Enterprise-Wide People, Culture and Safety strategies, programs and initiatives that support TasWater’s Vision and Values and allow the delivery of exceptional service to TasWater’s customers. Your diverse portfolio includes oversight and enhancement of employee experience and the employee lifecycle; employee and industrial relations; health, safety and wellbeing; and learning, development and change management. 
  
With TasWater’s recent Corporate Strategy refresh (2024) supported by its 5-year People Blueprint, there is a strong strategic platform of measurable People Aspirations focussed on Developing Next Generation Leadership; Building a Thriving and Capable Workforce; Safety and Wellness; and the provision of Contemporary Processes and Systems. With TasWater’s People Strategy clearly defined, the foundations are set for this role to deliver an aligned and effective cultural transformation across the entire organisation.
  
About you
To achieve success, you must demonstrate proven capability in moving the dial on real cultural change at an enterprise level, within transformational organisations that have similar operational and multi-disciplinary workforces. This experience should be coupled with your ability to lead, inspire and develop teams; and supported by a resilient, forward-thinking approach to ensure lasting, impactful change, which is central for thriving in this role.
  
An attractive remuneration package, including relocation (if applicable) is on offer. Please note, this role can be based in either Hobart, Launceston or Devonport.
