Woolich Racing makes software and hardware for motorcycle ECU tuning. Used by tuning shops, dealers and racers in Australia and internationally, it is a specialist business with a solid technical reputation and a loyal customer base.
To support its next stage of growth, OnTalent is proudly partnering with Woolich Racing to appoint an Operations / General Manager.

In understanding what we are looking for, you need to appreciate that the founder runs the business and runs it well. He needs someone to take the operational weight off him so he can focus on the product. The role is dynamic and interesting, the team and culture are great, and the product is actually pretty cool.

As the Operations / General Manager, you will work across a broad remit, including:

• daily operational priorities and follow-up across the business
• project, action and timeline coordination
• customer support activity, standards and response
• supplier, stock, logistics and shipping
• marketing partners, campaigns, product communication and launches
• distributor, reseller and key customer relationships
• staff, contractors and external partners
• business systems, process documentation and reporting

About you
You may be an operations manager, general manager, business manager or commercially minded leader from a technical, product-based or specialist business.

You will be comfortable working close to the details, communicating with technical and non-technical people, and keeping practical business activity moving without overcomplicating things.

You will bring:

• experience running operations end-to-end in a small or mid-sized business
• commercial judgement and the ability to prioritise without much direction
• confidence moving between customers, suppliers, partners and internal teams
• clear communication with both technical and non-technical people
• genuine interest in technical products, including software, hardware, performance or motorsport markets
