MiTraining is an Australian born Vocational Education and Training (VET) institution offering nationally recognised qualifications and skill development courses.
We are seeking experienced, hands on, service centric candidates for the new role of Group Finance Manager. Reporting to the Group CEO, the Group Finance Manager will take a high supportive business partnering approach to ensure the integrity of the groups financial reporting, internal controls, processes and compliance. The role provides advice, timely and accurate information and insights to the Group CEO, Boards, management and key staff to support decision making and strategic planning.
Leading a small team the role will:
- contribute to strategic and business planning
- develop a business partnering approach that supports internal customers through financial advice and insights, cost anylsis, business case and pricing support
- scenario and business optimisation modelling
- budgeting and forecasting
- metric analysis (financial and non-financial)
- assurance, risk and internal audit,
- financial management reporting
- oversight of contracts/commercial management with customer engagement - including pricing, contract formation, credit
- oversight of AP/AR/Complex payroll
- financial accounting and taxation
To be successful in this busy and varied role you must love managing and developing a team to provide exceptional business partnering. You must be hands-on and be prepared to work across all functions in your team as required. You must have exceptional systems skills and a knack for finding business improvement in every process and interaction. Whilst knowledge of the training/and or employment services sector would be advantageous, your experience in an environment with complex pricing/margins will be highly regarded. You will be technically strong in both financial and management accounting with exceptional business modelling/insights experience.
