Job Description

Titles Queensland manages the land and water titles registry for Queensland.  In June 2021, the Queensland Government announced the state’s titles registry services would transfer to the Queensland Future Fund, enabled by the Queensland Future Fund (Titles Registry) Act 2021. 

Now independently operating, Titles Queensland is building its team and the role of Human Resources Coordinator has been created to provide quality support across a broad range of HR operational transactions and will be the front line of HR’s support for internal clients. 

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the responsibilities will include a range of tasks including:      

  • Ensure HR practices are compliant with relevant legislative requirements and organisational values
  • Proactively coordinate HR functions; recruitment and selection, employee onboarding, performance management, injury management, health and safety, employee relations, reward and recognition, retention and talent identification, learning and development, HR administration and reporting
  • Provide accurate and timely advice to stakeholders across the full range of generalist HR/people issues
  • Build strong, collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders

This is a fabulous opportunity for someone who has commenced their HR generalist career and is wishing to take the next step.  You will have general knowledge of HR legislation and regulations including modern Awards, National Employment Standards, the Fair Work Act, Workplace Health and Safety Act and Regulations and general HR practices.

Imperative will be high level administration skills, including task and time management and great attention to detail.  You will have well-developed written and verbal communication skills, an ability to communicate to diverse groups of people and competency with MS Office Suite including data entry and reporting.

Previous experience with end-to-end recruitment activities, employee lifecycle transaction support and completion of (or currently completing) tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or similar is preferred.
