This is a standalone, hands-on and strategic HR leadership role, ideal for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner or HR Generalist ready to take the next step and lead a People and Culture function end-to-end.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will work in close partnership with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team, acting as a trusted advisor and practical change partner. You will play a key role in building a safe, values-driven and high-performing workplace where people feel supported, heard and empowered to do their best work.
This role suits someone who can operate confidently at both levels, shaping longer-term people initiatives while also delivering practical HR support day-to-day.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead the design and delivery of a practical People and Culture strategy aligned to organisational values
- Partner directly with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to uplift leadership capability, accountability and culture
- Strengthen workforce planning, talent development and succession approaches
- Drive initiatives that support employee wellbeing, inclusion, engagement and retention
- Provide expert advice across employee relations, performance, conduct and case management
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, industrial obligations (SCHADS Award) and child-safe standards
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding and end-to-end HR operations
- Use HR data, reporting and systems to support decision-making and continuous improvement
You are a confident, grounded and values-led HR professional who brings both credibility and care. You enjoy building strong relationships, coaching leaders, and creating practical people solutions that stick.
You will bring:
- Strong experience in a generalist HR or HRBP role across the full employee lifecycle
- The maturity and confidence to work closely with a CEO and senior leaders
- Solid working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, ER/IR matters and the SCHADS Award
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and comfort working in a standalone HR role
- A genuine commitment to inclusion, safety, ethical practice and people-first leadership
- Strong systems capability and confidence using HRIS platforms (Employment Hero experience highly regarded)
- Experience in the not-for-profit or community services sector (ideal, but not essential)
