Job Description
From an operational and delivery perspective, the Laboratory Supervisor and Laboratory Technician’s will be responsible:
- Experience working in QA/QC programs or managing laboratory teams and working knowledge of advanced laboratory equipment (e.g. HPLC, GC, NIR Spectrometry).
- Documentation preparation and review of qualification of new equipment.
- Sampling of starting materials, packaging materials, intermediate products, bulk products and finished products.
- Preparation of and updating of laboratory procedures including laboratory and equipment procedures ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Management of preventative maintenance & calibration of laboratory equipment (HPLC, GCMS/GCFID + a full array of benchtop testing equipment).
- A tertiary qualification in a science-related discipline.
- Experience in a Food testing, Microbiology, pharmaceutical/ GMP analytical chemistry or quality assurance laboratory.
- Experience with the practical aspects of working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) production and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) laboratory environments.
- Highly organised and able to multi-task.
