OnTalent is a boutique Brisbane-based Talent Advisory firm operating for 10 years, that specialises in talent acquisition (recruitment), executive assessment and development, and leadership solutions throughout Australia. Our aim is to provide our clients with tailored solutions and advice for whatever stage they are at during their career journey - from hiring to retiring, and every stage in between.

We are seeking a part-time (3 days per week) marketing communications professional to support both areas of our business to manage and grow our brand and engagement with clients.  Reporting into the Head of Client Services, you will work with our leaders across the business in this greenfield role.  Starting with developing a marketing communications strategy and plan that is achievable and measurable, it will focus on building our brand and reputation as an organisation and for the individuals within our business.

As the “social voice of OnTalent” you will manage all aspects of digital marketing including our website, e-marketing and social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Twitter. You will provide suggestions to improve engagement with the website and SEO.

You will bring strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to coordinate input and write content for winning tenders and proposals, blogs, newsletters and be our best practice brand ambassador for written communications … including being a proofreader extraordinaire!

You enjoy brainstorming and coordinating events, from executive board room lunches through to webinars in partnership with other brands.

You understand the importance of customer feedback and will help us to continue to engage with and receive feedback from our customers at all levels, to understand how we can continue to improve and grow our market share. And to top it off, you will develop and provide a suite of sales-based reports in conjunction with the Head of Client services that will measure client growth, inform and advise on customer buying habits and product take up.

To be successful you will need:
  • Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and Indesign experience;
  • Website editing and landing page development (ideally in Volcanic or similar);
  • Mail Chimp, Survey Monkey and other e-marketing and engagement tools;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Reporting and analysis experience
  • Ability to work within a team and autonomously as required on numerous projects;
  • Willing to support the business with administration support as needed including being a backup for answering the phone and attending to facilities.
