OnTalent is delighted to partner with this well-respected community-focused organisation, seeking interest from candidates for the role of People & Culture Business Advisor.   
  
Reporting to the General Manager, People & Culture this is a true generalist human resources advisory role which is responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships across the organisation to support human resource management activities.
  
You will provide operational and strategic advice and coaching to management on the full range of employee-related matters including recruitment, onboarding, orientation, probation, performance management, management of non-work-related injuries/return to work, and broad generalist HR functions.  You will also act as a mentor for new managers regarding human resources practices and provide advice and/or training to management and employees on the effective use of HR policies and procedures.  This will include research and the development of contemporary policies, keeping up to date with current workplace employment practices and relevant legislation, and providing high-quality support and advice across all operations of this organisation. 
  
To be considered we are seeking a strong generalist, who can demonstrate resilience and enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.  You enjoy leading change and supporting frontline operators with best practice HR advice and guidance.  We are seeking a minimum of 5-7 years experience as an HR Officer or Business Partner and formal qualifications with a minimum of an undergraduate degree in HR, Psychology, Law, Business, or an associated field.  To be successful you will possess highly developed verbal and written communication skills, experience in mentoring and coaching managers, and awareness of the principles of quality management and best practice.  Working in a small team with minimal supervision you thrive on leading change and negotiating positive organisational outcomes.
