Tritium is a Brisbane-based technology company whose mission is to offer energy freedom. We do this as a world-leading developer of electric vehicle charging infrastructure that enables the acceptance and growth of e-mobility. Our vision is that through the uptake of e-mobility we can help deliver cleaner, healthy and more convenient cities. Tritium is experiencing rapid growth with revenue doubling year-on-year and employs over 250 people through its offices in Brisbane, Los Angeles and Amsterdam.

This role will take full responsibility across whole of business in establishing and operating the PMO function.


From an operational and delivery perspective the PMO Director will:


  • Establishing and operating the PMO for the whole of business – develop project, process and policy around project and programs
  • Supporting localised functions that include - Engineering, Manufacturing , CX, Finance, IT etc as well as International and regional offices
  • Establishing best practices and frameworks in line with changing requirements
  • Leading the engagement of stakeholders with in the business with a focus on project governance
  • Act as the ambassador and driver of a “holistic view” of the business, create a risk awareness culture and “foreground” behaviour across all staff and business functions, a culture that drives outcomes form the facts behind the data
To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience across the following:
  • BSc/BA in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Systems or a related degree, possible MBA or PMP, AIPM accreditation
  • Experience in the establishment and management of program management or portfolio management offices for large, complex service delivery organisations
  • Experience in leading large scale transformation programs and/or projects for large, complex service delivery organisations
  • Experience in the design, use and deployment of project and change management methodologies and frameworks
  • Experience in establishing good project governance practice
  • Extensive experiences in senior level stakeholder consultation, engagement and facilitation with a track record of delivering high quality advice and solutions for a range of stakeholders in both a corporate and operational capacity
  • Commercial and financial acumen and the ability to consider the bottom-line impact of alternative solutions, maximising benefits whilst balancing risk
  • People leadership experiences and a proven track record in leading high performing teams    
  • Track record of successfully providing Program PMO services for large technology programs
  • Proven ability with management of complex program scheduling, financial and resource management and deliverable management
  • Considerable experience in governance and leadership to drive delivery outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence and drive a strategic agenda
  • High energy levels to ensure successful project delivery or turnaround success
  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
  • Process and people focused.
