This company seeks a motivated Quality Manager to be responsible for developing and further implementing a full QMS platform across the whole of the business. The Quality Manager will report to Chief Operating Officer.

 

From an operational and delivery perspective, the Quality Manager will:

 

  • Be responsible for developing and further implementing a full QMS platform across the whole of the business departments and functions.
  • Work individually and collaboratively on the development and further implementation of a full QMS platform across the whole of the business.
  • Introduction of fully compliant and approved QMS platform, processes, and procedures with a scalability capability across all areas of the business.
  • Through the analysis of existing and legacy systems drive the development and implementation of a QMS that supports R&D, Product Development, Manufacturing, and Customer Quality.
  • Develop a regular audit roadmap for all areas of the business to ensure continued alignment with the QMS.
  • Prioritising the review of customer-based issues/incidents, especially those where the charging service is interrupted, performing in-depth forensic analysis to determine the RC.
  • Support overall ownership of the Problem Reporting System (PRS), ensuring timely creation and completion of NCR’s.
  • Managing prompt and thorough RCA (Root Cause Analysis) of internal Quality deviations with a strong emphasis on corrective and preventative actions.
  • Closing the loop with the Issue Reporting System; evaluating & validating the permanent corrective actions once deployed.
  • Preparing internal & external Quality reports/documentation; including times lines, analysis, recommendations, etc.
  • Developing Quality sufficiency plans to deliver short-term (tactical) & longer-term (strategic) initiatives, generating the companies Quality Road Map.
  • Qualifying the "Cost of Poor Quality", using this as evidence to support the Quality sufficiency plan.
To be successful in this role you will have experience as a Quality Manager role within a similar company. You will have experience across the following:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Industry-based manufacturing or product development experience preferably involving complex assemblies and/or plastics transformation.
  • Prior experience in a Manufacturing, Engineering, or heavily regulated process environment.
  • Experience in the development of a QMS that will drive process, activity, and outcomes across departments and functions
  • Experience in the development of QMS and processes that are supportive of other areas/metrics such as ECN’s, ECO’s, NCR’s, etc.
  • Experience working in a high technology quality-driven environment.
  • Experience in the analysis of existing and legacy systems that act as a pathway in the development and implementation of a QMS that supports R&D, Product Development, Manufacturing, and Customer Quality
  • Quality standards knowledge may cover – ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001 etc
  • Experience working directly with Issue Reporting Systems, with deep knowledge in the corresponding systems/tools/procedures (8D, RedX, 5Y’s, Fishbones, FMEA’s, etc).
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritising multiple projects
  • Experience leading CI (Continuous Improvement) projects in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain etc.
  • Task-orientated, outcome-focused approach that fosters a “hands on” roll your sleeves up.
  • Green and/or Black Belt certification through a Lean or Six Sigma accredited organisation.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical problem solver.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritising multiple projects.
  • Well organised, self-motivated, and a genuine team player.
