Job Description
Reporting to the CEO and Board, this contract role will take overall responsibility for managing the state-wide delivery framework alongside frontline volunteers. To be successful you will be a values-driven professional with significant experience in WHS legislation, quality control, compliance and a commitment to person-centred service delivery models. Further, you will demonstrate an ability to coordinate projects within required timeframes, delegating operational activities to staff and volunteer stakeholders alike.
Experience in an NFP multi-site leadership operational role with customer service excellence is preferable, as well as the ability to manage and monitor operational budgets in a cost-effective manner, balancing financial and social outcomes.
Specific duties include:
- Act as the main focal point for day-to-day enquiries, working through solutions
- Lead and manage approved frontline outreach projects with staff and volunteer stakeholders
- Implement frontline policies and procedures within a regional ‘hub and spoke’ model
- Monitor staff training, general activity, and timesheet submission
- Conduct monitoring to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Execute plans to retain and attract frontline volunteers and partners
- Manage budgets and forecasts for frontline activities, ensuring the CEO and Board are informed of relevant operational matters
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, code of conduct and applicable WHS Laws
- Experience within a Not for Profit organisation
- Ability to lead and manage complex projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly lead, manage and build relationships with others
- Confident self-starter with little need for supervision
- Strong ability to manage volunteer stakeholder relationships
- Display a professional, positive, proactive attitude and willingness to invest extra energy when required
- Sound written and verbal communication, IT and analytical skills
- Possess a valid and current driver’s licence and be able to drive a car
- You will be required to hold, or be able to hold, a Blue Card and pass a criminal history check
