Job Description
Located at Eagle Farm and reporting to the Human Resources Operations Manager, this new position of Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide professional, accurate and timely support and continuous improvement to the attraction and retention strategies and process for Help Enterprises.
Key responsibilities will require you to:
- Proactively engage with business units across the organisation to understand business demands, talent and people needs for the short and medium term
- Assist in building effective workforce plans and sourcing strategies to attract exceptional talent that meets Help’s values, attitude and skill profiles
- Work closely with the Human Resources team to review induction, onboarding and existing processes; ensuring improvements are put in place and managed throughout the organisation
- Develop, execute and govern policies and procedures relating to talent acquisition, onboarding and inductions
- Assist in the development and implementation of a suitable HRIS for the business
- Provide monthly reporting relating to attraction and retention
- In conjunction with the Marketing and Communications Department, develop an executive a branding strategy relating to the internal and external drivers which will include the Help website, job ads, social media and marketing events
- Build key relationships across the organisation in order to implement a consistent and compliant talent management strategy
- Understand the external talent market and trends, optimising talent acquisition, onboarding systems and processes to continuously improve the candidate experience and operational effectiveness
- Ability to interpret the Fair Work Act and a range of different Employment Awards
- High level written and communication skills
- Well-developed IT skills including the use of database software, word processing and spreadsheets and human resources information system (HRIS)
- Sound conceptual and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of integrity
- Flexible, adaptable with a commitment to achieving results
- Ability to work autonomously and as a collaborative team member
- Tertiary qualifications in HR management or equivalent or 5 years’ experience in a similar role
