The Queensland Parliamentary Service (QPS) supports the Legislative Assembly, its committees and 93 Members of Parliament by providing the professional services, resources and advice required to enable effective governance.
Operating from the parliamentary precinct in Brisbane and supporting 97 electorate offices across the State, QPS plays a central role in ensuring Parliament can carry out its legislative, constitutional and representational responsibilities on behalf of Queensland communities.

About the role
Reporting to the Principal People and Culture Advisor, this position plays an important role in supporting the delivery of high quality HR advisory services across the Parliamentary Service.
The Senior People and Culture Advisor provides advice and support to leaders, Members and staff across the parliamentary precinct and electorate offices on a range of people related matters including employee relations, industrial relations, case management and workplace policy.
Working within a highly visible and dynamic environment, the role requires a professional who can build strong relationships, provide practical advice and navigate complex people matters with sound judgement and discretion.
The role also contributes to the ongoing development and improvement of people and culture policies, systems and processes that support a responsive and professional workplace.
