It’s an exciting time to join the Board as a Non-Executive Director to:

  • Provide governance and policy oversight as API evolves its structure and purpose
  • Contribute to the development of inclusive, place-based early years and community services
  • Support the Board’s engagement with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with legislative frameworks
  • Influence the strategic direction of a philanthropic organisation with a vision to become one of Queensland’s leading community giving entities by 2040

API’s Board is collaborative, strategic and focused on the future. We welcome expressions of interest from both experienced and emerging directors who are passionate about legislative impact and social change.

We are seeking a Non-Executive Director who brings:

  • Strong working knowledge of legislative and regulatory frameworks across sectors such as early childhood education, health, aged care or community services
  • Experience in governance, compliance or public policy at a strategic level
  • A values driven approach and commitment to improving outcomes for children and families
  • Board experience or readiness to step into a governance role
