Celebrating 15 Remarkable Years at OnTalent

OnTalent

This week, we proudly mark a significant milestone: Natasha Olsson-Seeto’s 15 years as Co-Founder and Chief Executive of OnTalent. This milestone also highlights her exceptional 29-year journey in the recruitment industry—one that has been nothing short of transformative.

From her early career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to leadership roles at Deloitte and global recruitment firms, Natasha has played a pivotal role in shaping the executive recruitment landscape. Her experience spans diverse sectors, from managing regional offices across Queensland to overseeing recruitment for some of the state’s most influential organisations. Interestingly, Natasha’s first job was selling pagers—a once vital tool in many industries—which, in hindsight, reflects her long-standing commitment to providing leaders with the tools they need to succeed.

Throughout her career, Natasha’s expertise in senior appointments, particularly within the Board, C-Suite, and senior management, has set the industry standard. Her significant contributions to government and utilities have further solidified her reputation as an industry leader.

The story of OnTalent began with a conversation between friends who sought to revolutionise recruitment by focusing on executive and high-level appointments. After a weekend brainstorming session fuelled by good food and wine, Natasha embarked on her mission to do recruitment differently. In 15 years, she has expanded OnTalent, building a team of industry specialists and creating recruitment solutions that span the entire hire-to-retire lifecycle. This includes offering talent advisory services and running workshops on career transition, leadership development, and business transformation—making a lasting impact on both individuals and organisations.

Beyond her work at OnTalent, Natasha has an undeniable passion for exceptional food and wine, and is deeply involved in various boards and organisations close to her heart, including Foodbank, Queensland Rugby Union, and the National Board of the Recruitment and Consulting Services Association (RCSA).

Natasha’s leadership is defined by her unwavering dedication, passion for excellence, and commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and professional growth. She encourages bold ideas, believing that if you fail, it’s just part of the learning process. Her mantra of “Give it a go” and “Tell the truth” embodies the spirit of OnTalent—bold, honest, and always striving for greatness.

Congratulations, Natasha, on 15 years of inspiring leadership. Your journey is an inspiration to us all, and we are excited for the future that lies ahead.

Here’s to many more years of success and innovation! 🌟
