About the Department of Education
The Department of Education plays a central role in delivering services that support Queenslanders at every stage of their learning journey. From early childhood through to schooling, the Department works to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed, supported by strong systems, capable people and a clear focus on outcomes.

The Business Solutions and Advice team sits within this function, working across the organisation to solve complex problems, improve performance and support informed decision making at a system level.
